BOYER CAMPBELL BUILDING
6540 St. Antoine St, Detroit, MI 48202

We’re thrilled to announce this year’s Detroit Warehouse Art & Design Fair at the Boyer Campbell Building.

Dates: Friday, September 19th - Sunday, September 21, 2025

DETROIT WAREHOUSE: Art and Design Fair is a three-day event showcasing contemporary, affordable works by emerging and mid-career artists.

Held in one of Detroit’s most iconic industrial spaces — the Boyer Campbell Building—designed by Albert Kahn-trained architect C.F.J. Barnes, the fair offers a unique platform for artists and designers to showcase their work and connect with art buyers in the heart of the Detroit Design District.

Timed to coincide with Detroit’s Month of Design — in a UNESCO City of Design celebrated for its groundbreaking art, influential design, legendary music legacy, thriving maker culture, and rich creative heritage — the fair captures the city’s energy and industrial roots while spotlighting the future of creativity.

Open Hours:

Meet the Curators

From September 19th to 21st, the Boyer Campbell Building will become a 45,000 square foot stage for Detroit Warehouse: Art and Design Fair, the anchor event of the Detroit Month of Design. Presented by ArtClvb, the fair’s second edition brings together more than 100 artists and designers from Detroit, across the United States, and internationally, including New York and Japan.

Last year’s debut drew over 3,000 visitors. This year, the program expands to include design alongside contemporary art, offering new ways for artists and designers to connect directly with their audience.

Visual Arts selection is curated by writer, curator, and Jeanne and Ralph Graham Curatorial Fellow at Cranbrook Art Museum Katy Kim. Design selection is curated by designer and Lawrence Tech professor Bilge Nur Saltik. The fair features exhibitions, installations, performances, and interactive experiences with no fixed themes, allowing participants to present work shaped entirely by their own ideas.

Detroit and the region have long been defined by creativity that outpaces its recognition. The fair places Detroit’s creatives alongside peers from Japan and New York, creating a dialogue across geographies and disciplines that is both rooted locally and open to the world.

With the new ArtClvb web app and mobile app, art buyers and visitors can purchase works instantly using their phones in person or from the comfort of their home. For those who prefer in-person assistance, the fair team will be available on site.

The Boyer Campbell Building is a 60,000 square foot landmark in the Detroit Design District, with 45,000 square feet activated for the fair. Its industrial history and expansive layout host large scale installations and intimate works side by side.

The Detroit Warehouse: Art and Design Fair is possible with the generous support from the Gilbert Foundation Grant and Detroit Design District.
